A Tumbleweed Crossing Comedy Gunfight Stunt Show

The town of Tumbleweed Crossing is in need of a new Marshal and quick! Two not-so-bright Deputies, Tector and Lyle, have been upholding the law (sort of), but with the threat of the infamous Dirty Dan Donovan and Bad Bob coming to town, they’re going to need back-up. Comedy ensues as Marshal Sam arrives and is not what anyone was expecting. Our dynamic, self-contained, authentic old west set comes to life with crowd-pleasing comedy, stunts, and special effects! CHARACTERS:
Lyle – (Male, 18-45 years old) Lyle is the leader of the two dim-witted Deputies in town. He may not be the best at his job, but he sure is the funniest! (This character is responsible for setting the pace of the show, must be able to capture the attention of large crowds, and have excellent comedic timing.)

Tector – (Male, 18-45 years old) Tector is a simple kind of fella, just doing his best at his new promotion to Second Deputy. He’s great at his new job as long a there’s no danger or bad guys around. (This role requires a character actor capable of high energy and excellent comedic timing.)

Marshal Sam – (Female, 18-45 years old) Sam, short for Samanatha, is the new Marshal in town. She’s the law-woman this town never knew it needed. She’s here to whip these Deputies into shape and save the town of Tumbleweed Crossing from the worst of the worst outlaws. (Only seeking one part-time swing actress local to Branson.)

Dirty Dan – (Male, 18-50 years old) He’s as mean as bad guys come, and his reputation proceeds him. Dirty Dan ain’t got no time for foolishness, and there’s nothing he hates more than a dumb Deputy.

Bad Bob – (Male, 18-40 years old) Sidekick to Dirty Dan, this tough desperado won’t take any funny business from anyone. He’s in the thick of the action when the big shootout goes down. (This role REQUIRES A 12ft HIGH FALL.)

PERFORMANCE DATES: June 6 – August 3, 2026. Full-time actors will perform three 30-minute shows 4-6 days a week. The show is dark every Tuesday. Actors may be expected to assist in load-in/out of the set to the indoor theater located at Silver Dollar City.

MOVE-IN DATES: TBD

REHEARSALS: Paid partial performance day rate. June 1, 2026 – June 5, 2026.

PAY: $125 per day

HOUSING: All actors will have fully furnished apartment housing provided by Silver Dollar City within easy walking distance of the park. Relocation to Branson, MO is required and is the responsibility of the actor.

MEDIA: Actors will be required to attend requested media appearances which may include but are not limited to print, TV, social media, etc. These appearances are NON-EQUITY.
